(Cd,Zn)Te Gamma Ray Detection System

XIE offers high energy resolution gamma detection systems based on (Cd,Zn)Te for radiation monitoring and surveillance applications. The systems are temperature stabilized to improve the overall nuclide detection performance and to provide long term stability during outdoor measurements.

The systems use two stacked Coplanar Grid (Cd,Zn)Te detectors connected to our novel digital Multi Channel Analyzer, the GMCA, with coincidence sum mode to improve the overall photopeak efficiency.
